Dam Medspa is conservative by design. Every treatment is performed by Uy Dam, NP — the same injector at every visit — and if a treatment isn't right for your face or your goals, we'll tell you. Some first visits end with treatment; others end with a plan to think about. Both are perfect outcomes.

Your First Visit, Step by Step
A warm welcome
Arrive a few minutes early to our boutique studio on Dorchester Ave — parking is available nearby, with lot and street options. You'll complete a brief medical history and consent forms, then settle in. No clinical coldness, no waiting-room chaos.
The consultation
An unhurried conversation about your goals, timeline, comfort level, and what "natural" means to you — followed by a facial assessment. Ask anything; no question is too basic. This time is yours.
Your plan and your price — before anything happens
We map out exactly what we'd recommend and what it costs: for Botox, that means the precise units and total at $13/unit, quoted before anything is injected. No surprises at checkout, no upsells mid-treatment.
Treatment — same day if you're ready
For Botox, same-day treatment is often possible — the appointment is quick, so if the consultation confirms it's a fit and you feel ready, we can treat you right then. Dermal fillers and Sculptra deserve more time than a consultation leaves, so we'll schedule those as their own dedicated appointment — unhurried, with your plan and pricing already mapped out.
And plenty of first-timers simply go home to think it over — genuinely fine, and we'll never rush you. If you do proceed, we use comfort-focused techniques and guide you through every step.
Before photos are taken for your clinical record — for your eyes and your provider's, to track your results. They are never used in marketing without your explicit written consent.
Aftercare, a next-day check-in, and follow-up
You'll leave with clear aftercare instructions and a picture of what's normal in the first days. Then we reach out the next day to check in on how you're doing — and if any question comes up after that, you can reach us anytime.
For Botox clients, we also offer an optional follow-up around the two-week mark — right when your results have fully settled — to review how you responded to the dosing and placement. It's entirely up to you, and it's a simple way to fine-tune future treatments so every visit gets more precisely tailored to you.
Transparent Pricing, Quoted Before Treatment
Botox is $13 per unit. Moxi Laser is $600 per session. BBL BroadBand Light is $600 per session. Moxi and BBL combo is $750 per session. Dermal fillers and Sculptra are personalized at your consultation based on your plan. Whatever the treatment, you'll have an exact quote in hand before anything begins.
First-Visit Questions
Do I need to know what treatment I want?
No — many first visits start as consultation-only. We'll assess your face, listen to your goals, and recommend the right starting point, which is sometimes simpler (and less expensive) than what you had in mind.
Will I be pressured to get treatment the same day?
Never. Same-day Botox is often possible when it's appropriate and you feel ready — fillers and Sculptra are scheduled as their own appointment so they're never rushed. Either way, the decision is always yours, and going home to think it over is a completely normal way to end a first visit.
Does it hurt?
Injectables are generally very tolerable — the needles are tiny, and most people describe quick pinches that pass fast. We use comfort-focused techniques and guide you the whole time.
How long should I plan for?
First visits run longer than maintenance visits because we take the consultation seriously — plan for about an hour so nothing feels rushed.
How much will it cost?
Botox is $13 per unit, and your exact units and total are mapped out at the consultation before anything is injected. Other treatments are quoted the same way — full transparency before you commit.
What happens after my appointment?
We reach out the next day to check in on how you're doing. Botox clients can also book an optional follow-up around two weeks — the point when results have fully settled — so we can review how you responded to the dosing and placement and fine-tune future treatments.
