THINGS TO CONSIDER PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT

BOTOX
Avoid if possible 
  • Avoid supplements and medications that may increase bruising risk (NSAIDs such as Advil, Motrin, etc.; aspirin; ginger; vitamin E; ginkgo biloba; etc.) and alcohol.

Contraindications
  • Pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or nursing
  • Neuromuscular disorders (please consult your specialist for clearance before Botox)

DERMAL FILLER
Avoid 
  • No dental work for 2 weeks before and after filler injections (4 weeks if major dental work)
  • No vaccinations for 2 weeks before or after filler injections

Cautions
  • Autoimmune disorders (e.g., lupus, rheumatoid arthritis)
  • Multiple allergies


​Contraindications
  • Pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or nursing
  • Active infection

MOXI LASER
Avoid
  • No sun exposure (tanning) or self-tanner for 1–2 weeks prior to your visit
  • Hold retinol and other active products for 1 week prior

Contraindications
  • Pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or nursing
  • Accutane within the past 12 months
  • Long-term steroid use
  • Propensity for keloid formation
  • Active infection

BBL LASER
Avoid
  • No recent prolonged sun exposure for 4 weeks prior
  • No self-tanner for 2 weeks prior
  • Hold retinol and other active products for 1 week prior
  • No Accutane within the past year

Contraindications​
  • Pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or nursing
  • Accutane within the past 12 months
  • Propensity for keloid formation
  • Skin cancer
