Dermal filler pricing

Dermal filler at Dam Medspa typically ranges from $600–$800 per syringe, depending on the product type and how much is used. During your consultation, we’ll recommend a plan that matches your goals and budget—without overfilling.

Product type
Different HA fillers are designed for different areas and support levels.
Amount needed
Half vs. full syringe (or staged visits) depends on anatomy + goals.
Treatment area
Lips, cheeks, jawline, and folds each require different technique and product selection.

Exact pricing is confirmed after we assess your features, goals, and the safest plan.

What type of filler do we use?

We primarily use hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers from the Juvéderm family. HA is naturally found in the body and is used to add volume, improve balance, and support the look of smooth, natural contours.

Why HA filler matters
HA fillers are customizable by area and goal. And if needed, HA filler can be dissolved.

We’ll recommend the best product for your anatomy and desired finish (soft, structured, or supportive).

How long does dermal filler last?

Most filler results last about 1–2 years depending on the product type, placement, your metabolism, and how much was used (for example, half vs. full syringe). Many clients notice their results can last longer than expected, especially once they’ve built toward their goal over time.

Lips
Often long-lasting once you’ve “built” to your ideal shape (maintenance varies).
Cheeks / midface
Typically longer-lasting support due to deeper placement and structure-focused technique.
Jawline / chin
Often durable results when using the right product and conservative layering.

Longevity varies. We’ll give you a realistic timeline based on your plan and the areas treated.

Safety & complications

Most filler side effects are temporary and can include swelling, tenderness, and bruising. These are not fun, but they can happen and are not uncommon.

Rare, but important: vascular occlusion
A true complication that is rare is vascular occlusion (when filler blocks a blood vessel). If there are warning signs, we have a clear protocol and we keep a reversal agent (hyaluronidase) in-office. We review red flags and when to contact us immediately. If needed, we also have access to a plastic surgeon who can see and help treat clients the same day.

If you ever experience severe pain, skin color changes, or vision symptoms after any injectable treatment, contact us immediately and seek urgent medical care.

Aftercare timeline (day 0–14)

  • Day 0 (same day): Avoid makeup, avoid touching the area (reduces infection risk), and skip alcohol.
  • First 48 hours: No strenuous exercise to minimize swelling and reduce risk of migration.
  • Days 1–7: Avoid massaging the area, no jade rollers/face tools, and avoid heavy pressure on the treated area.
  • Days 7–14: Continue to avoid unnecessary pressure; swelling should steadily improve as things settle.
  • Two-week window: Avoid dental work and vaccinations around your filler appointment (as advised).
Best results tip
If you’re ever unsure whether something is “normal,” message or call us—we’d rather you ask early.

We’ll give you personalized aftercare instructions based on the areas treated.

How much is in a syringe of filler?

Most dermal filler syringes contain about 1 mL (one milliliter). That’s a small amount of volume—so natural-looking results come from precise placement and, sometimes, a staged plan (building gradually over more than one visit).

Quick perspective
“One syringe” doesn’t automatically mean a dramatic change. Your final look depends on where it’s placed, your anatomy, and whether the goal is definition, support, or volume.

Dermal filler FAQ

Will I look natural?

That’s the goal. We prioritize balance and conservative correction so you look refreshed—not “overfilled.”

How long does filler last in lips or cheeks?

Longevity depends on the product type and how much is used. Once you’ve built toward your goal, lips and cheeks can last a long time, and many clients find results last longer than expected.

Does filler migrate?

Migration is uncommon with proper technique and correct product selection, but it can happen—especially with repeated treatments, shallow placement, or natural movement over time. If it ever becomes a concern, HA filler can be dissolved.

Can filler be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers (like the Juvéderm family we use) can be dissolved with a reversal agent if needed.

Filler vs Botox — what’s the difference?

Filler (often HA) adds volume and improves balance (fullness, contour, shadow/light). Botox is a neuromodulator that relaxes muscles that create lines and wrinkles. They do different things—but often work beautifully together.

How much filler do I need for cheeks or jawline?

It depends on your starting anatomy and goals. A conservative approach can be 0.5 syringe per cheek and about 1 syringe per side for jawline definition, but your best plan is determined during consultation.

Can I work out after filler?

We recommend waiting at least 48 hours before strenuous exercise to reduce swelling and lower the chance of migration.

Is there downtime?

Most clients return to normal activities quickly. You may have temporary swelling, tenderness, or bruising.

What should I avoid around my appointment?

Avoid dental work and vaccinations around your filler appointment as listed above. Avoid touching/massaging the area, and let us know about medications, autoimmune conditions, allergies, or cold sore history so we can plan safely.
